PUTCO to use over 500 buses to transport ZCC pilgrims to Moria

Bus Company PUTCO says it will be using over 500 buses to transport ZCC pilgrims to Moria outside Polokwane in Limpopo for the Easter conference.

Thousands of travelers, including pilgrims, are expected to drive through Polokwane as they head to various destinations.

Polokwane Mayor John Mpe says they will be deploying the municipal traffic officers to deal with the expected high traffic volumes, especially on the R71 between Polokwane and Moria.

“We will be deploying our traffic officials; we will also be deploying our municipal police. Remember we are working within the parameters of joint operation center which will be in full swing where we will also be meeting the expectations as the host city. Firefighting will also be on site, they will not be working in their offices, they will be onsite in Moria.”
