Members of DSA holds banners that read: ‘Cyril Must Fall’
Defend South Africa (DSA) and other civil rights groups are set to march in Pretoria today, calling for President Cyril Ramaphosa’s immediate resignation.
The marchers will assemble at the Old Putco Bus Depot in Marabastad and proceed to the Union Buildings.
Tshwane Metro Police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba says their officers and the Police Service will be deployed to monitor the march in affected streets.
“The following streets will be affected Struben Street, Cowie Street, Kgosi Mampuru Street, Bosman Street, Sophie de Bryn Street and Paul Kruger Street. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as Eskia Mphahlele, Nana Sita Street, Francis Baard Street, WF Nkomo Street and Bloed Street.”
