uMkhonto weSizwe Party demands justice for Cwecwe

uMkhonto weSizwe Party Youth leader Bonginkosi Khanyile says justice must take its course in the rape of a seven-year-old child from Matatiele in the Eastern Cape.

The child was sexually assaulted allegedly on school premises last October while waiting for her transport.

Khanyile joins various parties, organisations and many South Africans who have rallied behind the hashtag – justice for Cwecwe campaign.

Speaking in Pretoria, Khanyile says the MKP will have to act on the matter if the police don’t take action.

“Justice must take its course. But I’m saying the justice must take its course if the police and the judiciary do not want to execute their duties correctly. I think comrades and my leaders [of] uMkhonto weSizwe must zoom into that white guy. Honestly, you can’t in 2025, send your child to be done what the young child is allegedly done by the guy.”

Meanwhile, the Eastern Cape Department of Education has deregistered the school following the refusal of the school management to cooperate in the rape investigation.

The department alleges that the principal of this private school has been playing delaying tactics.
