FILE | Flooding in KZN in 2019
The South African Weather Service has issued a Yellow Level 2 alert for severe thunderstorms across most parts of KwaZulu-Natal for Sunday.
The weather service added that damaging winds, excessive lightning, hail and heavy downpours leading to localised flooding may affect most parts of the province, except the north eastern and extreme north western areas of KZN.
Residents are being urged to shelter pets and prevent any outdoor activity during the storm.
Weather update for today and tomorrow, 29-30 March 2025:
