The second health working group meeting of G20 countries under the Presidency of South Africa is taking place at Zimbali near Ballito on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast today.
Delegates from G20 countries and international organisations are, over the next three days expected to discuss ways to strengthen health systems and promote equitable access to health services.
In a welcoming letter to the delegates, Minister of Health Aaron Motsoaledi urged delegates to collectively work towards equitable, resilient and sustainable healthcare systems.
Working groups on various sectors will be meeting to trash issues out before the G20 summit in South Africa in November.
