Residents of the Nkowankowa township outside Tzaneen in Limpopo have been blockading streets with burning tyres since last night over power and water outages.
They are demanding an end to Eskom’s load reduction and the Mopani District Municipality’s water supply disruptions.
The Tzaneen Municipality has urged residents to stop the protest saying it is engaging both Eskom and the Mopani District Municipality.
