A crime scene cordoned-off.
The police’s forensic experts have made their way at the Solo restaurant in Sandton, Johannesburg. This comes after a shooting incident occurred at the restaurant on Thursday evening.
Three people were shot dead, while four others, including two regular customers, were wounded.
According to the police, two AK-47 rifles and two handguns were seized at the scene.
Preliminary investigations from the police have revealed that one of the deceased was involved in a shooting incident at Tempo restaurant, in Sandton last year and he was still attending a court case of attempted murder.
The scene has been declared a crime scene, and one of the customers in the restaurant says she now fears for her safety.
“I walk past here every morning for my walks, so it was a shock. That’s the reason why I came around just to check as to what is happening. And for now, as I said, it is a bit scary. So, I’m a bit skeptical about the security for now.”
