The funeral service of 28-year-old murder victim, Siphesihle Nkosi is currently under way in Kingsway in the East Rand.
Nkosi’s beheaded body was found last month. She was last seen in the company of her boyfriend.
Nkosi’s body was discovered in a veld in the Kingsway area following an extensive community-led search.
According to her family, the head was found some meters away from her body.
The discovery of Nkosi’s body has left not only her family distraught, but also the entire community in shock and disbelief.
Family, friends and church members have assembled to pay their last respects to her.
Investigations into this matter are underway and the family has called for the perpetrator to be brought to book.
