Mamelodi Sundowns are the kings of African football again after getting their second star by winning the 2026 CAF Champions League in Rabat, Morocco.
Sundowns drew 1-1 with AS FAR in the second leg, but their crucial away goal saw them win 2-1 on aggregate β their first African title since 2016.

The victory also books Sundowns a place in the Intercontinental Cup and the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup.
The Braziliansβ head coach, Miguel Cardoso, says that for him, the victory was quite personal.

This was his third CAF Champions League final appearance, following disappointments in previous campaigns.
