Lesufi commits to resolving community challenges in Ratanda

Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has promised to deal with all the issues raised by residents of Ratanda in the Lesedi Local Municipality, during a Provincial Integrated Service Delivery engagement held on Thursday afternoon.

Residents complained to the Premier about a host of issues relating to broken electricity transformers, government support for indigent households, high crime levels, lawlessness, and service delivery failures.

Lesufi has vowed to address the problems and report back to the community.

“The concerns that you have raised, they have touched me. It is not an issue of listening only, but coming up with the solutions to fix the problems. I want to thank you for the respect that you have shown. I want to thank you for the time you have taken to be with us, allow me to go and check our budgets. I’ll come with all the MECs and the affected ministers from National. We must sort out the problems of Rwanda once and for all.”
