Free State Premier Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae addresses delegates at an event.
Free State Premier Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae says she will be giving a progress report to the province when she delivers her State of the Province later this morning.
Letsoha-Mathae says the province has already turned into a construction site with several roads that are under construction.
She told the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) that she will also outline how she will address maladministration in municipalities.
“One other thing that I promised, the green states in the opening of the legislature last year, I said there’ll be no one, especially in senior positions who’ll be appointed before we could even get a clearance certificate of that particular individual, like what the police are doing and this is what we are going to do to make sure that we get capable, ethicals (candidates), as we say we want an ethical and developmental state, that’s where we need to start.”
