President Cyril Ramaphosa is leading the South African delegation to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
According to the Presidency statement, Ramaphosa will deliver a special address at WEF where he will present the economic priorities of the country’s government of national unity (GNU) and advance the country’s G20 presidency.
His participation at WEF comes at a time when South Africa is pushing hard to address the challenge of economic growth and inequality.
Team South Africa had to answer tough questions previously on challenges of power supply.
The meeting, convened under the theme: ‘Collaboration in the Intelligent Age’, will foster new partnerships and insights to shape a more sustainable, inclusive future in an era of rapidly advancing technology.
