A bank manager and his co-accused are expected to appear in the Cape Town Regional Court today.
Raed Cupido and Christopher Carelse are facing charges related to dealing in drugs and the unlawful possession of unlicenced firearms and ammunition.
Cupido has since been suspended from his position.
His initial bail application was denied before he submitted another application based on what were described as new facts. The second application was also denied.
Last year, detectives raided a storage facility in Cape Town where they seized 15 bricks of cocaine with an estimated street value of R18 million, as well as firearms and ammunition.
The matter was postponed to this Wednesday for plea and trial proceedings.
