The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) has announced the three names that will serve on the Impeachment Committee. These members are the party’s first Deputy President and Parliamentary leader, Dr John Hlophe, Chief Whip Mmabatho Mokoena- Zondi and Dr Khanyisile Litchfield-Tshabalala.

Political parties have until Friday to submit names to National Assembly Speaker, Thoko Didiza the names of those that will serve on the 31-member committee.
The establishment of the committee is the result of a Constitutional Court judgement that Parliament must establish an Impeachment committee for President Cyril Ramaphosa to answer to prima facie evidence about foreign currency stolen from his Phala Phala farm.
