Ndimande brothers return to court in AKA murder case

The two Ndimande brothers linked to the murder of rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrate’s Court.

Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande have previously abandoned their bail application on two occasions.

The court is expected to hear the finalisation of their indictment.

The magistrate is likely to transfer the matter to the High Court, where the brothers will join five other co-accused.

They face charges including double murder, conspiracy to commit murder and attempted murder.

Forbes and Motsoane were shot and killed in February 2023 outside a restaurant on Florida Road in Durban.

The case is expected to proceed to trial once transferred to the High Court.
