CAF President Patrice Motsepe
Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Dr Patrice Motsepe will visit Morocco today, following a high-stakes visit to Dakar, Senegal, on Wednesday.
The visit takes place against the backdrop of a controversial decision by the CAF Appeal Board to strip Senegal of its 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title and award it to host nation Morocco.
On Wednesday, Motsepe met with the Senegalese president and the country’s top soccer officials.

He called for unity in African soccer, governance reforms, and a focus on World Cup preparations.
In Morocco, he will hold talks with the president of the country’s football federation and various members of the wider football community.
