Proteas men fight back to level series, women go down to New Zealand

South Africa’s spin twins, Keshav Maharaj and Prenelan Subrayen, as well as the twin pace attack of Ottneil Baartman and Gerald Coetzee combined to deliver a hard fought victory which sees the Proteas level the T20 international series against New Zealand at two all, with one match to play.

The Proteas beat the Black Caps by 19 runs in Wellington in the fourth match of T20 international double header. Unfortunately, in the earlier match, the Proteas women suffered a six wicket loss to New Zealand and the White Ferns take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series.

The double header series moves on to Christchurch, on Wednesday.
