My corruption busting record is why I am labelled a spy: O’Sullivan

Private investigator Paul O’Sullivan says attempts are being made to discredit his corruption busting record by spreading a narrative that he is a spy.

O’Sullivan is appearing before Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee looking into concerns around national security for a second day.

He is appearing before the committee to respond to allegations of undue influence he has over police, among others, impersonating an IPID official.

O’Sullivan is also a holder of passports from three different countries.

He says this is being used to paint him as a spy, “That’s the narrative of corrupt generals in CI and police, not new. started by Selebi, then Phahlane, then again by Phahlane and his comrade Cedrick Nkabinde. Also, by Mkhwanazi in this house. It’s the strategy to discredit the good work I have done in this country over last 36 years.”
