MK Party announces establishment of presidential task team

The uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MKP) has announced the establishment of a presidential task team as the country prepares for the local government elections.

The team will work closely with the office of MKP leader Jacob Zuma.

Briefing the media in Umhlanga in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, Zuma said the party’s significant growth informed the decision to establish this unit.

“I thought it was important that we got together with what is happening with the growth of this organisation that is going to liberate our country, particularly to me because I am all up and down working this way and that way…and it was necessary that we look at how much I can do that for a long time. So, we thought it was important that we have people who must help me and add to what I am doing.”
