Bokamoso Mokhobo, a Grade 12 learner at Hoërskool Vanderbijlpark, has been described as a confident, beautiful young lady who was not afraid to speak her mind.
This emerged at the joint funeral services of Mokhobo, Thato Moetjie and Ofentse Jayden Vinger, which is underway at the Saul Tsotetsi Multipurpose Centre in Sebokeng.
The three learners were among the fourteen school pupils who perished after their scholar transport taxi collided with a truck along the Golden Highway near Vanderbijlpark on Monday.
Mokhobo’s best friend, Katleho Oliphant, says Bokamoso was a sister and a trustee who brought joy to her life.
“I did not think her life will be cut so soon. I imagined our best friendship even when we are older. But I guess life has its own plans. I’m grateful for the laughter, the shared secrets and the time you lifted me up when I was down. Go well, my friend. Rest in peace, even though you are gone, the memories we shared will forever be in our hearts.”
