The 22-year-old driver, who was behind the wheel when a scholar transport minibus taxi crashed with a truck, is appearing before the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s Court on 14 counts of culpable homicide, as well as reckless and negligent driving.
Twelve learners died at the scene on Monday and two more learners died in hospital on Thursday morning.
