Nine children have been injured after the driver of their scholar transport vehicle lost control. The vehicle crashed into a tree near Sarnia Primary School in Pinetown, west of Durban.
Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson explains: “Its believed that a single vehicle carrying nine school children on their way home some how lost control and collided with a tree. Nine of the children have been attended by ALS Paramedics with injuries ranging from minor to moderate. Once the injured children have been stabilised, they will be transported to various hospitals for further care that they require. The scene is a little bit chaotic at the moment as frantic parents are making way to the scene and multiple ambulances are in attendance.”
