Motorists will be paying a little more at the pumps from Wednesday.
This follows a fuel price increase of 25-cents per litre for both grades of petrol.
Diesel will go up by between 20 and 21-cents a litre and paraffin will cost 28-cents more a litre.
Fuel Price | Streak of price drops ends on Wednesday due to higher oil prices:
The Mineral and Petroleum Resources Department’s spokesperson Robert Maake says the increase is attributed to the higher international oil prices during the period under review.
“Both grade of petrol will increase by 25 cents a litre, diesel will increase by 20 and 21 cents a litre. Illuminating, paraffin will increase by 28 cents per litre in retail level and LP gas will increase by 36 per kilogram. The reason for this increase is mainly due to higher oil prices on average during the period under review compared to the previous one. The prices of LP gas are increasing due to higher prices of propane in butane and the slate level remains unchanged at cents per liter on both petrol and diesel.”
