Senegal, DRC play to one all draw in AFCON match


Senegal and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have played to a one all draw in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group D match in Tangier, Morocco on Saturday afternoon.

Cedric Bakambu opened the scoring for DRC but Sadio Mane equalised for the Senegalese.

Both teams have four points after two games, but the West Africans are on top on goal difference.

Earlier, Benin recorded their first victory when they beat Botswana at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat.
