Power supply cut-off in Tzaneen due to storms

Electricity supply has been cut-off to various areas in Tzaneen, Limpopo, following storms and hail.

Eskom says its two sub-stations have been damaged.

The areas affected include Nkowankowa, Lenyenye, Dan village and Muhlava.

In a statement, Eskom says the extent of the damage and estimated period for restoration of power is not known yet.

People are advised to treat all electrical connections as live.
