Limpopo police hunt suspects after burnt body found in forest


Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for suspects following the discovery of a burnt body in the forest at Manenzhe village in the Vhembe district.

Police spokesperson, Malesela Ledwaba says the identity of the victim is being withheld pending further investigation.

Ledwaba says the body was discovered by community members who were looking for a missing person.

“Upon arrival, they found the victim’s body almost completely burnt, apparently using vehicle tyres. His identity is currently being withheld pending further investigations. The police have opened a case of murder, and investigations are under way to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and to track down the perpetrators.”
