In a letter addressed to the Speaker of the National Assembly Thoko Didiza, the party says this incident underscores the urgent need for security measures to be enhanced to ensure the safety of the Ad Hoc committee members.
MKP Chief Whip Colleen Makhubele says Parliament’s delay or failure to address the threats puts its members at risk.
Makhubele asked Didiza to provide a written response on how they will address the safety concerns raised.
