Two staff members were shot at the Inxiweni Primary School in Tembisa, Ekhurhuleni.
The South African Police Services have confirmed the arrest of a 26-year-old woman in connection with the fatal shooting of the principal and an administration clerk at Inxiweni Primary School in Tembisa.
This after police responded to a double murder on Tuesday at the school and arrived to find the bodies of two women, both with gunshot wounds.
The suspect, who is reportedly employed at the school, was taken into custody on Wednesday evening and is expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says, “The police have arrested a 26-year-old woman in connection with the double murder that occurred on Tuesday afternoon at eNxiweni Primary School in Tembisa. The suspect, who’s also an employee, will appear before the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court on 21 November 2025, facing charges of double murder. Police investigations are still underway on this matter.”
