A well-known Lekompo musician in Limpopo, Lehlohonolo Chauke, who is popularly known as Shebe Maburna, is on Friday morning, expected to apply for bail in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court.
Chauke is facing multiple charges, including one of attempted murder, malicious damage to property and unlawful possession of a firearm.
He allegedly shot and wounded a passenger in a car last month. The incident happened at Ladanna in Polokwane.
In his previous court appearance, Shebe Maburna’s case was postponed for profiling, further investigations and possible bail application.
The court heard that Shebe Maburna has other pending charges, including another attempted murder, assault GBH, robbery with aggravating circumstances, among others, at Lebowakgomo Regional Court.
The court is looking at the possibility of consolidating the cases.
