Shebe Maburna’s case has been postponed to next Friday at the Polokwane magistrate’s court.
The Limpopo Artist Movement has expressed disappointment over the postponement of the case of Lekompo musician, Lehlohonolo Chauke, popularly known as Shebe Maburna.
Maburna’s case has been postponed to next Friday at the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court in Limpopo.
The case has been postponed for profiling and further investigations. He has been charged with attempted murder, malicious damage to property and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Maburna has been remanded in custody.
Limpopo Artist Movement’s Mphoza Mashabela says they are disappointed that he will not be able to perform at several events he’s booked for this coming weekend.
“We are just slightly disappointed with the bail application, which will take place next week Friday. Remember, we are talking about an artist. We have gigs this weekend, so we just slightly disappointed. We hope that next week the court will finalize that outstanding case from Lebowakomo and will grant him bail. We are approaching the festive season. We do have a quite number of events in the province.”
A 30-year-old Limpopo-based lekompo musician is expected to make his first appearance in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Thursday in connection with attempted murder.
