MKP questions Ramaphosa’s silence on farm dollars during Trump talks

uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party National Spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhlela, says President Cyril Ramaphosa should have accounted for the dollars found on his Phala Phala farm in 2020 during his meeting with President Donald Trump at the Oval Office in the United States on Wednesday.

Ndhlela was reacting to Ramaphosa’s meeting with Trump, where concerns of a “white genocide” and land grabs took centre stage.

The party had previously called for Trump’s administration to investigate the farm robbery where approximately $580 000 was stolen from Ramaphosa’s farm.

MK Party National Spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela says, “What you have there sitting next to Donald Trump is a fugitive from justice. What should be happening is that they should be prosecuting him and asking him to actually respond as to how he was found with all those dollars on his couch, and also then account according to the international law of the US, which is the FCPA. This is what should be happening because they are sitting with a person who has caused criminality, and that farm of his is a crime scene.”
