ANC in Limpopo postpones regional conference over branch disputes

The African National Congress (ANC) regional elective conference in the Norman Mashabane region in Mopane in Limpopo has been postponed to next weekend due to unresolved branch disputes.

Nineteen disputes have been escalated to the National Dispute Resolution Committee of the ANC.

ANC provincial spokesperson, Jimmy Machaka says they have been advised by the regional leadership to postpone the conference.

‘We have been advised by the regional leadership of the ANC in Norman Mashabane region that the conference that was set to take place on Saturday and Sunday at Karibu this weekend as now been postponed to the following weekend. The regional conference has been postponed because there are still outstanding disputes that have not yet been finalised,” says Machaka.
