An empty Magistrate’s Court room
Two men suspected of the rape, kidnapping and killing of 43-year-old Motlalepule Kau, are expected to appear at the Ganyesa Magistrate’s Court in North West.
The duo was arrested on Saturday, after police discovered Kau’s body burried in a shallow grave in the bushes between Tlakgameng and Kudunkgwane Villages.
Kau was reported missing last Wednesday at Mahikeng Police Station and her body was discovered a day later.
North West Police spokesperson Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone confirmed the arrest of the two male suspects and says they have been apprehended in connection with the murder of Kau.
“They were arrested at Tlakgameng Village near Ganyesa. They are expected to appear in the Ganyesa Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 29 April 2025, on charges of kidnapping, rape and murder,” says Mokgwabona.
