Traffic volumes have started to increase on the N4 toll road between Komatipoort and Emalahleni in Mpumalanga.
This as travellers head back home from various destinations after the Easter long weekend.
Traffic law enforcement officers are manning roadblocks to ensure compliance.
The provincial Community Safety, Security and Liaison MEC Jackie Macie has cautioned road users to exercise patience.
“We can see traffic has increased on N4 from Lebombo to Machadodorp to Gauteng, where we are going to intensify visibility, people they are forcing whilst they noticed that they are tired so hence we increased our police visibility,” says Macie.
