Zuma’s private prosecution bid against Ramaphosa struck off roll

The private prosecution matter against President Cyril Ramaphosa by former President Jacob Zuma has been removed from the roll in the High Court in Johannesburg.

The decision follows that of the Constitutional Court earlier this week where Zuma’s application for leave to appeal was refused.

The matter stems from 2022 where Zuma launched a private prosecution bid in the High Court.

He accused Ramaphosa of being an accessory after the fact over the alleged leak of his health records.

Advocate K Pamla-Sihunu, who represented Zuma in court, says both parties agreed to have the matter removed from the roll.
