The MK Party member of parliament Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla, has pleaded not guilty to all three charges levelled against her.
Zuma-Sambudla, who is charged in terms of the Terrorism Act, faces one count of incitement to commit the offence of terrorism and two counts of incitement to commit public violence.
The charges relate to her alleged role in instigating the July 2021 unrest in KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng through her social media posts on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Her trial commenced today in the Durban High Court.

Her father, former president Jacob Zuma and leader of the MK party and other senior leaders are seated in the public gallery.
