A Zimbabwean man has been stabbed to death in his car at Ivydale Plot in Polokwane, Limpopo.
He has been identified as Philip Mabusha.
Locals are alleged to have then assaulted one of the suspected attackers.
The suspect is being treated in hospital, another person managed to escape the angry crowd.
Police spokesperson Hlulani Mashaba says that the preliminary report suggests that the suspect called the victim to meet at the crime scene and it’s not yet clear as to what transpired until the victim was fatally stabbed.
“The members of the community allegedly caught one suspect, assaulted him, and later called the police. The deceased was identified as Mr Philip Mabusha, a Zimbabwean national. The motive behind the incident is still unknown at this stage, but police investigations continue.”
