World Rugby has announced a groundbreaking biennial tournament – a joint venture between SANZAAR and Six Nations Rugby and featuring 12 top rugby nations was officially launched today.
The Springboks will host England, Scotland, and Wales in July next year when the new Nations Championship launches with a northern invasion of the southern hemisphere.
It was also confirmed that the Boks will face Italy, France and Ireland in Europe in November to complete their fixtures against all Six Nations teams.
The Finals Weekend will take place in Twickenham, England on the last weekend of November.
Japan and Fiji are the two invitational teams who will be representing the southern hemisphere.
