The organisation’s sentiments comes amid thousands of social activists partaking in various demonstrations across the country, to declare (GBV) a national disaster in South Africa.

“Next week Friday, the 28th of November, we have a follow-up meeting that is when a detailed plan will be highlighted to us, as to what are the next step, what are the classification going to be implemented as well as the role in which civil society and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) will also play in terms of making sure that we can start making tangible and meaningful change for all the survivors and also making sure that the legislation that we have currently can be to be enforced in a better way,” says Masina.
