Witness F will no longer appear before the Madlanga Commission on Monday due to ill health.
Witness F has previously linked suspended National Deputy Police Commissioner General Shadrack Sibiya with attempted murder accused Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.
His witness testimony has been moved to March 16, 2026.
Evidence leader Matthew Chaskalson says Witness F will not be available until 25 February.
“Witness F has been hospitalised and is not available today. There is an application for postponement. The medical certificate on the last page of that application, annexure I2, records that Witness F will not be available at least until 25th February. We have looked at our calendar, and the earliest available date that we have after 25th February would be 16th March.”
The Commission will resume on Wednesday with a new witness.
