Witness B has testified at the Madlanga Commission in Pretoria about how murder accused Katiso ‘KT’ Molefe misrepresented his identity when he was arrested in the United Kingdom in 2004.
According to Witness B, Molefe put down the name of Lebitsa David Teboho who was born in 1964.
This was different from the name he is registered with in South Africa.
Witness B says that this information came up when Molefe was applying for bail in the Armand Swart murder case this year.
Evidence leader Advocate Thabang Pooe read this into the record.
“Mr Molefe was arrested in the United Kingdom and charged with Count one, possession of class B drugs; Count two, possession of controlled drugs, cannabis; Count three, possession of prohibited weapon, self-loading smoothbore gun; and Count four, possession of prohibited weapon, self-loading smoothbore gun.”
