Outside City Hall in Cape Town where the State of the Nation Address will be delivered.
Western Cape Premier Alan Winde is calling on President Cyril Ramaphosa to prioritise urgent structural reforms to fix all ports of entry and the rail network to boost economic growth.
Winde says the Port of Cape Town is an essential factor for driving economic growth by processing more imports and exports. He says 39% of the province’s agricultural value is reliant on logistic network efficiency, making the sector crucial.
Western Cape Premier says while the country is driving economic growth, decisive action to better manage South Africa’s non-investment is needed.
President @CyrilRamaphosa, we urge you to put economic growth & job creation front and centre of #SONA2025. I look forward to hearing about the GNU’s plans to boost growth & enable many more jobs.
