The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has sent out a warning of disruptive rain in various parts of the country this week.
This follows isolated incidents of inclement weather over the weekend.
Forecaster Lehlohonolo Thobela forecast what can be expected this week.
“In KZN on Monday, we are expecting a widespread chance of showers and thundershowers in most parts of the southern parts of the province. However, these showers and rain are expected to still persist over the central and northern parts by the afternoon into the most eastern areas in Mpumalanga, Limpopo as well as Gauteng.”
“In our warnings on Monday, we are expecting disruptive rain in Mpumalanga, Gauteng as well as an orange level six warning for disruption rain issued for the central parts of KZN,” explains Thobela.
