Myburg says there has been a change in the order of the High Court in Pretoria regarding the provision of emergency aid to the illegal miners.
“There was a little bit of a change on these limitations that were put in place from Friday, to say that food and water will be supplied but only over weekdays from Monday to Friday between 8:00 to 16:00. No food will be allowed to be lowered on weekends. Furthermore, they also put a limitation on to say that hazardous substances this includes paraffin, gas, diesel, that will not be allowed to be lowered down to illegal miners.”
