Four of the six victims of last weekend’s drive-by shooting in Reiger Park, in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng will be laid to rest tomorrow (Saturday, 8th of November).
A joint funeral service will be held for cousins Patricia Nieuwenhuys and Ruth Marais, while Royden Joseph and Danyelle Barlow will be buried separately.
The fifth victim, Nomasonto Nkosi, will be laid to rest on Sunday, while the sixth will be buried in their home country.
The shooting, which happened on a Saturday night claimed six lives and left three others injured.
Police say suspects travelling in two vehicles opened fire indiscriminately before fleeing the scene.
A 23-year-old man was arrested by the Anti-Gang Unit but later released due to insufficient evidence.
