Family, colleagues and friends of veteran actress Nandi Nyembe will attend her funeral in Randburg, Johannesburg on Saturday.
She died a week ago at the age of 75 after a long illness.
Nyembe was born in Kliptown, Soweto.
She has been hailed as a formidable performer whose career spanned over four decades.
Nandi Nyembe will be laid to rest at the West Park Cemetery today. The burial service will be held at the Walter Sisulu Hall in Randburg, before the procession heads to West Park. #MorningLive#sabcnews

Nyembe acted in programmes including Yizo Yizo, Soul City, Zone 14, Isibaya and Adulting.
Her grandson Jabulani Nyembe says the actress was the heartbeat of their family.
“Her laughter was music in our home. Her wisdom, the compass that guided us. The light that carried us through life storms. She would make you feel seen, valued and loved. To us she was not only a star admired by many, but she was also our safe place,” adds the grandson.
