‘Underdogs’ Sundowns ready for tough Dortmund encounter

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Divine Lunga says that his club will go into their FIFA Club World Cup game against German club Borussia Dortmund as underdogs.

The two teams will clash in a Group F encounter in Cincinnati at 6pm.

Dortmund are looking for their first win in the tournament, but Sundowns knows that another victory will take them to the next round.

With a fully fit squad and high morale, Sundowns is eager to cause another upset and inch closer to the round of 16.

Dortmund are still looking for their first goal in this year’s FIFA Club World Cup.

“I think everyone knows what Dortmund is capable of, it’s not a small team, they are big guns. We are underdogs and I think where we come from people know what its like to play against Mamelodi Sundowns, even the Dartmund coach talks about us in interviews. I really think it’s going to be a tough game no doubt.”
