Ukrainian drone makers eye exports to US and Middle East

Ukrainian manufacturers of cheap interceptor drones designed to knock out Russian drones say they have the capacity to export in large volumes, amid enquiries from the United States and the Middle East prompted by the Iran war.

Kyiv has developed the interceptor drone technology to counter drones fired by Russia.

The Russian drones are based on the Shahed model from Iran.

Ukrainian drones are a much more cost effective means of downing Shaheds than the very expensive Patriot and air launched missiles that are made in the US.
