Mandrax tablets
Two suspects including a Nigerian national have been arrested in Makhaza in Khayelitsha on the Cape Flats, for dealing in drugs.
Police spokesperson Joseph Swartbooi says members of the Makhaza anti-hijacking team in collaboration with Crime Intelligence, acted on information about premises where drugs were recently delivered.
Swartbooi says members searched the place and discovered tik and cocaine.
“During a search conducted at a second premises, members arrested a 55-year-old male for dealing in drugs after discovering a large amount of drugs which included 115 full mandrax tablets, six halves, seven quarter mandrax tablets and 42 packets containing tik.”
