Two people taken in for questioning regarding DJ Warras’s murder


Police have confirmed that two people have been taken for questioning in connection with the murder of Popular DJ and businessman Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock.

Stock was shot and killed at a hijacked building in Johannesburg last week.

Police say he was approached by three men, all captured on CCTV footage, who opened fire before fleeing on foot.

National Police Spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says, “You will recall that National Commissioner (Fannie Masemola) had committed that by Monday there will be a breakthrough in this particular case. We can confirm that Gauteng police led by Lieutenant General (Tommy) Mthombeni have taken in two people for questioning.”

Mathe adds, “We have not yet arrested, its questioning this morning and they are being questioned by our detectives, and they will then provide us with an update, whether they will effect the necessary arrest and so on.”
